SEZ Project:
In consideration to the objectives and promoters’ keen interest and strong vision in the area of real estate, NHUDL proposes to set up Sector Specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for handicrafts in the Handicrafts Hub of India over an area of 10.4872 hectares of land strategically located on the National Highway – I (Delhi-Amritsar corridor) near Panipat (Haryana).
The SEZ project will provide world class facilities and infrastructure to the handicraft export hub in Haryana with an investment of Rs. 200 crores as well as the following :
- Employment generation opportunities in Haryana
- Increase in export and foreign exchange earnings in the area.
Status of Project::
- The company is in possession of the total land.
- The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India has already approval for the project vide letter No.F.2/143/2006-EPZ dated 29-11-2010.
- The area of 10.4872 hectares has been notified by the Govt. of India vide The Gazette of India No.1720 dated 09-09-2011 for the SEZ.
- The zoning and master plan of the SEZ area has already been finalized and infrastructure development work is in progress.
