THE SALIENT FEATURES
Outer body is fabricated of superior quality, rust resistant CRC sheet (M.S) with powder coated paints in a variety of colors to match your bathroom finish.
Assembly unit is made of heavier gauge superior quality brass copper combination with hard nickel finish to ensure the long life of the unit.
Thermal insulation: A high density vermin proof, flame retardant glass wool is used between the gap of outer body and inner tank to ensure minimum heat loss, thereby saving energy.
Heating element: Mineral filled sheathed heating element made of nickel-plated copper tube bearing mark.
THE SAFETY DEVICES
Thermostat: A stem type automatic control device .It is set to operate at 65’C.It cuts off the power supply when reaches at the pre-set temp. The power supply is automatically “ON” when the water temp, goes down.
Thermal cutout: This device ensures further safety in case of thermostat failure. It cuts off the power supply permanently and red indicator shall glow. In such a case please report the matter to your dealer for removal of defect.
Safety valve: Safety valve is built on to coupling nut on the Intel pipe. When the pressure inside the tank became more than 3kg/cams, this device operates. It opens and starts dripping.
Fusible plug is provided at the bottom, in the rare case that the thermostat and thermal cutout fails, this plug melts, releasing hot water and steam through the drain pipe hence avoiding untoward accidents.
Non Return Device: There is siphon hole on the inlet the pipe inside the inner tank of the storage heater. When the pressure inside becomes low, this siphon hole prevents back flow of water. Thus it prevents collapse of the tank due to vacuum formation.
