When the motor has attained normal speed (i.e. 80 to 90%) press the run knob (yellow) to bring the motor to ‘DELTA’ position. Press Stop knob (Red) to stop the motor. The contactor assembly is comprised of three contactors:- one for MAIN, one for STAR and one for DELTA circuit with interlocking arrangements All the three contactors are dipped in an oil chamber having double break robust copper contacts. The coil is machine wound, taped vacuum impregnated and baked to suit tropical conditions. Thermal, bimetallic overload relay, triple pole accurately calibrated to provide protection against overloads.
